JOIN TOGA

TOGA stands for the Tulane Organization for Global Affairs, the premiere undergraduate international relations club on Tulane's campus. Consisting of over 50 active undergraduate members, TOGA explores global affairs through a range of on and off campus activities.

Model United Nations:

TOGA's bread and butter, over the past several years, has been competitive Model United Nations. MUN is a college debate activity that places students in the roles of diplomats, who focus on the peaceful resolution of a critical international issue. Requiring students to strategize, speak, and demonstrate their knowledge of the topic, MUN includes a variety of academic skills.

A crucial aspect of the MUN program is travel. Each semester, the team takes dozens of delegates on two trips to conferences in the United States. At these conferences, students compete against hundreds of other college delegates to demonstrate their skills. We have attended conferences in cities including Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Philadelphia.

In addition to traveling to compete, Tulane hosts several on-campus training conferences each year exclusively for team members. These mini-conferences are intended to simulate the experience and prepare delegates to compete at the highest level.
